Supervised by founding member, legendary singer Paul Rodgers, BAD COMPANY has remastered their two seminal first albums, for the first time ever using the original tapes to create new Deluxe Editions. Both records influenced countless bands in Rock history, and remain as true staples of British Classic Rock.
The self-titled debut was already featured HERE, now it’s time for “Straight Shooter”, their second rocking effort.

“Straight Shooter Deluxe Edition 2CD Remastered” includes the newly remastered version of the original album, along with an extra CD featuring 13 previously unreleased tracks and the hard ro find B-side “Whiskey Bottle”.
The bonus material here includes a two quite different versions of the absolute classic “Feel Like Makin’ Love”, a remix of “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad” with alternative guitar and vocals tracks, a stripped-down version of the excellent “Shooting Star”, and together with alternate takes and mixes of other cuts, two lost gems never released before: “See The Sunlight” and “All Night Long”.

Bad Company released its second album Straight Shooter in April 1975, 40 years to the month of this new Deluxe Edition. The album rose to #3 on the U.S. album chart and was certified 3x platinum behind the hit singles “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad” as well as the rock radio staple “Shooting Star”.
Guitarist Mick Ralphs revealed that “Shooting Star” (which told the story of a rock star who died early) was lyrically inspired by the drug and alcohol-related deaths of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison.

This “Straight Shooter Deluxe Edition 2CD Remastered” not only features a huge number of previously unreleased tracks, but the great “Straight Shooter” original record sounding in all its glory.
Including the mega-hit “Feel Like Makin’ Love” (a song covered by more than 150 artists), “Straight Shooter” and Bad Company self-titled debut defined in many ways the British Rock sound & style of an era.
A must have in any serious Classic Rock collection.
