“Finding Neverland – The Album” is the compilation album released today made of the songs played on the upcoming Broadway musical with the same name “Finding Neverland“, which was premiered two months ago.
JON BON JOVI has contributed vocals to “Beautiful Day”, a cut from The Album, also released as the first single.

The Finding Neverland LP, finds lyricist Gary Barlow enlisting an array of vocalists, including the Bon Jovi frontman and other rock&pop big stars, to put a new musical spin on the stage story, which dramatizes the life of Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie — and is itself based on the 2004 film Finding Neverland, starring Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.
“Everybody knows Peter Pan, and I guess in some essence you could always say that every rock ‘n’ roll star is Peter Pan,” – Bon Jovi pointed out – “They never want to grow up.”

For Jon Bon Jovi, singing “Beautiful Day” offered an opportunity to be a part of a project in a medium he’s long admired — and, having watched Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan labor for years over the music to the Tony-winning musical Memphis, he understands how long and difficult the process can be.
It’s a very nice performance by Jon, on a rocking tune with sweet melodies.
