CLASSIC ROCK Magazine Presents – They’re Coming! (2017)
From time to time prestigious Classic Rock Magazine alongside its juicy content includes a music CD featuring truly interesting material, sometimes unreleased, sometimes new stuff.
In the latest issue there’s “They’re Coming!“, a disc with 17 tracks by rising new bands, including Bad Marriage, The Wellbred Bastards, Koyo, Ornaments, Wakan Phoenix and more… some upcoming acts you need to check.
There’s a delicious swagger in Bad Marriage’s track, a great band with a The Answer / Rival Sons feeling, Stone Cold Killer rocks harder with a late Thin Lizzy twin guitar attack, then Grand Ultra delivers a melodic haze.
The Wellbred Bastards are all about big guitars, Fear The Mammoth add classic B3 to their modern classic rock music, then Rattlesnake a bluesy influence.
Koyo is a promising band with great harmony vocals, Trauma Lips has a slightly punkish attitude in The Who vein, while The Electric Snakes are quite electrifying indeed.
If you want female vocals check Rumors, Domecow is a darker act influenced by classic Black Sabbath, Hoodooed add a bit a psych with swirling organs, and Black Gremlin has that classy power trio sound.
