KILLING TOUCH (Michele Luppi) – One Of A Kind [Japan Edition +1]
After Michele Luppi’s departure from Vision Divine and in-between the Los Angeles project, he formed KILLING TOUCH with fellow members from other bands. Luppi wrote all tracks freely inspired by Stephen King’s novel ‘The Dead Zone’, and the band recorded this debut album “One Of A Kind“.
Musically inspired by ’80s melodic metal / classic hard rock, I must say something right now: this album is almost perfect, from beginning to end. There are no flaws on it.
Production is crystal clear, one can listen to the bass as loud as the guitar (seriously), every cymbal of the drum is perfectly recognizable; Luppi’s vocals are, well, as always, majestic, soaring and beautiful. The keyboards are mainly piano, so it would be hard not to notice them. There is just nothing you can say is not listenable in the whole album and it’s perfectly polished quality.
