This is one was requested and most of you will love it: DELTA‘s 1985 self-titled LP ripped from vinyl LP by the 0dayrox team. The album never was officially released on CD, there’s a bootleg, and a digital version at Amazon, obviously taken from vinyl. We think our rip sounds much better than these.
And who are these DELTA? A one-off AOR band with Maureen McDonald (sister of Michael, who also co-produced the album) on lead vocals. And the style? Pure mid-Eighties awesome radio friendly AOR with Hi-Tech elements.
There’s songwriting contribution by the likes of Bruce Gowdy, Tim Goodman, soundtrack guru Jay Ferguson, and among the session musicians, Nathan East, Waddy Wachtel, etc
A much sought after collectors piece, “Delta” is a pure delight for 80s AOR aficionados.
