SERPENTS IN PARADISE – Temptation (2022)

After the split of metal act Spitefuel, guitarist Tobias Eurich didn’t just want to hang up his guitar, but dedicate himself more to what had been neglected in the years before: play classic hard rock – more blues, more dirt and more of his guitar heroes from his youth.
In Matthias Lüönd and Jason-Steve Mageney, the right comrades-in-arms were quickly found for an ambitious project baptized SERPENTS IN PARADISE, the result of which will be released on 8 July in the form of “Temptation” on MDD Records.
Since no suitable singer could be found in the immediate vicinity, the idea of realising the whole thing with the help of various guest renowned singers matured. In the end, Gianni Pontillo (Victory), Mark Fox (Shakra), Stu Block (Into Eternity, ex-Iced Earth), Herbie Langhans (Firewind, Avantasia) and Alex Kühner (High Tide), a whole host of singing heroes, got enthusiastic about the project, the idea, and not least the songs and contributed their part to this album.
The result is a gripping, catchy, mature traditional hard rock album with lots of groove and solid performances.
