AVALAND (ft. Zak Stevens) – The Legend of the Storyteller (2023)

French sympho / melodic metal band AVALAND will release their sophomore album ”The Legend of the Storyteller” this week, a metal opera already started with the first release. As the previous one, ”The Legend of the Storyteller” is a journey, a trip out of our world, into the universe of Avaland, made of pure melodic metal hymns.
Through its bombastic production and very melodic nuances the new recording features the soulful voices of Zak Stevens (ex-Savatage), Madie (ex-Nightmare / Faith In Agony), Pierre Cara Carabalona (Eltharia), Ivan Castelli (Lionsoul), Angèle Macabiès, and mighty guitarists Jens Ludwig (Edguy) and Bruno Ramos (Sortilrge/ex-Manigance).
The new opus is showing a heavier and darker atmosphere of Avaland’s theatrical universe, still very melodic and with a polished, clean sound. Lyrically, this new CD is the prequel of the first album “Theater Of Sorcery”.
