Beginning as professional musician two decades ago, British LEE ABRAHAM – guitarist for excellent progsters GALAHAD – has a very strong solo career as well. With his writing featuring both a classic AOR and progressive rock sound, Lee also explored other sides of prog in the past.
Today October 21st Abraham is releasing his latest solo album, ”Origin Of The Storm”, musically quite different from his previous, a pretty dark work. This fresh recording is a joyful melodic neo-prog album, with AORish melodies and bright sound production.

”Origin Of The Storm” features an array of modern-day prog talent including keyboardist Clive Nolan (Arena, Pendragon), Mark Spencer (Galahad, Twelfth Night), vocalists Peter Jones (Camel, Cyan) and Marc Atkinson (Riversea, Moon Halo), bassist Alistair Martin (Cosmograf live band), and more.
Mastered by Karl Groom (Threshold) and impeccably produced by Abraham itself, the music ”Origin Of The Storm” takes you back to Eighties melodic prog with elegant arrangements and delicate melodies – however it isn’t a calm or midpaced record – most of the songs are upbeat, dynamic, showcasing Abraham’s class as songwriter.
