Fronted by talented Steve Overland, FM has been a staple in the British melodic rock / AOR scene since their formation in 1984. With their debut album, Indiscreet, they solidified themselves as one of the leading bands in the genre. Via Naughty Records (their own label) the band has released their own Vintage & Rare CD series that contains indeed rare and unreleased FM music.

This second version of Vintage & Rare is a true gem. All these early versions give listeners a glimpse into the band’s creative process and when they were at their peak. Songs like “Crying In The Dark”, “Everytime We Touch”’, “Like Lovers Do”, “Closer to Your Heart”, etc, are all amazing AOR, some are even better – I mean, unpolished yet fresh, vital – than the final versions.
