READY TO STRIKE – First Bite (2025) *HQ*

Hailing from the gutters of Syracuse, NY, four-piece READY TO STRIKE are presenting their debut album properly titled ”First Bite”. These are young guys with a passion for ’80s styled hard rock, and delivers here a self-managed product reflecting that love for melodic riffs and catchy choruses.
This dynamic ensemble brings a fresh twist to the classic hard-rocking vibes that defined an era, with a pretty electrifying sound mixing some Skid Row, Van Halen, King Kobra, etc, all over 10 well crafted tracks, with a singer plenty of swagger and rawness, and a lead guitarist influenced by the great EVH.

Previously known in 2023 in the Syracuse area as ‘Mean Streak’ playing covers of bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Poison, Ratt, and Mötley Crüe, in 2024 the guys staring writing their own music and changed name to READY TO STRIKE.
After a couple of standalone singles their full album ”First Bite” is here, short, effective hard rockin’ songs channeling the spirit of legends from the genre while carving out their own distinct path.
