PAT TRAVERS – Heat In The Street Tour 1978 (Purple Pyramid Records 2025) HQ *Exclusive*

Just released and featured here at 0dayrox exclusive, ”Heat In The Street Tour 1978” is a smokin’ hot, melt your face off, volcanic performance from the living legend himself, PAT TRAVERS.
This scintillating slab of classic rocking blues was recorded in 1978, a pivotal year for the PAT TRAVERS BAND (including monster drummer Tommy Aldridge) that saw them expand into a four-piece with the addition of talented Pat Thrall and record the breakthrough ‘Heat In The Street’ album.
As Travers himself puts it, “this band was vicious and by the time we hit the Agora Theatre in November of 1978 we were jaw dropping live!”
These tapes come from Travers own vault, and sound quality is outstanding. Sure, Pat Travers Band released a live album in 1979 (titled ‘Go For What You Know’) however doesn’t include the songs “Rock ‘n’ Roll Susie,” “Need Love,” “Evie,” and “Life in London” present here. And the performance of “Need Love” is, by itself, worth the price of this CD!
This is PAT TRAVERS BAND at its peak, killer rock n’ roll of the highest order.
