THOMAS CARLSEN'S TRANSMISSION - Clockwork Sky (2025) *HQ* - full

320_1 /// 320_2 /// FLAC

Commanded by Norwegian guitar virtuoso Thomas Carlsen, his THOMAS CARLSEN’S TRANSMISSION project is back with new album “Clockwork Sky“, a punchy new collection of Classic Melodic Metal music written and performed by Carlsen and again, featuring 4 strong vocalists from around the world.
“Clockwork Sky” has more dynamics than previous Carlsen’s TRANSMISSION works, now adding arena rock of the 80s and commercial power metal to the mix, resulting in a more anthemic, fist-in-the-air album.
For the new record, Carlsen recruited four different vocalists to complement his new songs. Sebastian Palma (Blizzard Hunter), Atli Guolaugsson (Power Paladin) and Arnaud Ménard (Ecclesia) return after performing on previous record A Brave Horizon, and Greek powerhouse Mike Livas (Silent Winter) makes his first appearance on the power ballad “One with the Storm“. Perhaps these singers doesn’t ring any bell, but we assure you they are very good, competent shouters.

All instrumental performances, as well as mixing duties, were handled by Carlsen himself. Norwegian graphic designer Mina Lynum returns with yet another stunning artwork to adorn the album cover.
“Clockwork Sky” is not only a record strongly infused with elements from Rainbow, Judas Priest and Dokken, it is also a fierce, soulful metal album in its own right. Carlsen brand of melodic metal also can be compared with ’90s Malmsteen or Axel Rudi Pell, with hard rock / AOR waves.
