2025 is the Artificial Intelligence year. Anything electronic you use has incorporated AI in one way or another. And in the last months we have been flooded by AI generated music as well. Music from all genres. Anyone not being educated as musician, with time and patience, is able to create a full song.
We think human talent never will be replaced, nor wood & steel music instruments. But some real musicians are using AI as well to shape their musical ideas, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
As said, there’s a lot of fictional bands and ‘unreleased albums’ out there right now, and with ‘albums’ on sale at major retailers. To be honest, most of these are garbage, uninspired, badly crafted ‘songs’.
However, there’s some exceptions to the rule. The “band” WILD ONE is one of ’em. The name behind this AI project is ‘Ulf Mikael Nilsson’, a fictional name for sure. But the person behind WILD ONE – musician or not – really know how to create a catchy tune.
Titled “No Guts No Glory“, this is the just released ‘album’ by WILD ONE, and yes folks, this is pure ’80s AOR / Melodic Rock inspired music. ‘Ulf Mikael Nilsson’ may be musician or not, but I assure you he has heard all the classic bands & albums from the genre, and learned all the tricks n’ hooks.
As a whole, all has been pretty well put together, from guitars, keys, synths and drums to the AI vocals, with that classic ’80s sound shape.
Not the real thing? You prefer human muse? We too, but dude, WILD ONE is darn infectious!

done a couple songs with songer myself..just for inspiration…the weakness I find is the cliched slightly childish lyrics…………I even recognize the voice used here……….cant fault the music though……….. AI always seems to produce good gtr solos too………….Im afraid its game over now for people producing original music…………….
