Rhino / Warner Records continue with the welcomed Expanded Edition releases of VAN HALEN. ”Balance (Expanded Edition)” features Van Halen’s multi-platinum 10th studio album with remastered audio, plus a rarities disc featuring 3 studio B-sides and 8 previously unreleased live performances from London’s Wembley Stadium (June 24, 1995).
Van Halen’s Balance turns 30 this year, and Rhino is celebrating with this 2-CD expanded edition. It follows last year’s successful reissue of For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (Expanded Edition) and concludes Rhino’s spotlight on the band’s classic albums from the Hagar era.
Van Halen’s 10th studio album, ”Balance”, was released in 1995, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was the final album featuring the lineup of lead singer Sammy Hagar, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, and bassist Michael Anthony. It was the band’s fourth consecutive album to kick off at #1. Balance went triple platinum.
Rhino is set to deliver another amazing Van Halen experience on August 15th. That’s when Balance’s Expanded Edition unleashes a slew of goodies, including unreleased recordings.
