The song blends vivid imagery with deep emotional resonance, and the soaring guitar solo is counterbalanced by the piano. Just when you think it’s winding down, the piano lingers on in an unexpected and refreshing twist on the traditional rock ballad. This song is a welcome departure from the cookie-cutter norm.
“Toxic Baby” is a highlight. It’s the heaviest track on the album, channeling the raw grit of BABYLON A.D.’s early years. The aggressive, driving intro hits hard, and Davis’ vocals sound youthful and fresh with that classic edge longtime fans will instantly recognize. While it screams recognizable yet fittingly contemporary.
“Power Of Music” is a fist-pumping rock anthem, backed by the ambient roar of a cheering concert crowd. It’s tailor-made for live performances, with a big, bold chorus destined to have fans singing along in unison. It’s light and fun with an air of excitement that draws the listener in.
“Torn” is a midtempo with a catchy groove-driven guitar riff that gives way to moments of choppy grit and melodic heartfelt urgency. The way it carefully balances between moods makes it one of the more intriguing cuts on the record. This song definitely breaks the traditional power ballad mold in favor of a more unforeseen dichotomy.
