MICHAEL GLEASON – Children Of Choices (1990) *HQ*
As requested, here’s MICHAEL GLEASON 1990’s album ”Children Of Choices”, produced by Dino & John Elefante. A musician from the CCM rock scene, Gleason was previously member of Kansas’ 1983 touring band, and later Kerry Livgren’s AD.
Unlike his work with Livgren, this album has a late ’80s pop-rock / lite AOR sound but occasionally you can hear some influence from his years with Kansas and Kerry Livgren’s band. Of course having the Elefante brothers as producers (John Elefante also contribute backing vocals), you can expect a bright sound, clean / polished.
Fans of this ’80s lite AOR sound with a bit of Hi-Tech will love this album, featuring very good session musicians and the great Terry Brock performing backing vocals too. Think a mix of Planet 3, Richard Marx, Mr. Mister, a pinch of late 80’s Toto.
