Swiss hard rockers SIDEBURN are releasing ‘‘Loaded – The Best Of”, a double disc including their best hits, new songs, fresh re-recordings with guests, rarities, and live recordings.
Sideburn has been rocking for more than quarter of a century, 28 years to be exact, always led by founding members frontman Roland Pierrehumbert and drummer Lionel Blanc delivery their brand of timeless riff-driven rock n’ roll. They toured and supported the likes of KISS, Dio, Motorhead, Def Leppard, Ted Nugent, Krokus, Gotthard, Thin Lizzy, just to name a few.
The band’s desire to create a ‘best of’ album began to mature in late 2022. But not to just compile a selection of tracks or to fill the gap between albums: Sideburn has decided to do things in a big way, to please their fans. So there’s new music, rare tracks, and live stuff, where the band excels.
These are kick ass, testosterone-fueled firebrands from Sideburn’s albums Sell Your Soul for Rock ‘n’ Roll, Crocodile, Gasoline, Cherry Red, Jail, Electrify, #Eight and Fired up. We have two guest stars with very well-known names and members of Gotthard: guitarist Leo Leoni who plays on ”Hell on Wheels” and singer Nic Maeder on the title “Gangster Lover 2023”.

All their classics are present. Including Six Feet Under, which shimmered under the Hollywood stars on the soundtrack to the blockbuster Wolverine (starring Australian actor Hugh Jackman). There’s also the song Knockin’ at the Wrong Door (featured in the trailer for Hit and Run).
Good time hard rockin’ stuff.
