INVADED – Here Comes Trouble (2025) *HQ*
Trondheim, Norway emerging hard rockers INVADED have unleashed their debut album “Here Comes Trouble”, a 10-tracker influenced by the Scandinavian acts from the ’80 & ’90s performing this musical style. A nostalgic yet refreshing dose of excellent polished female-fronted Melodic Hard with AOR touches.
INVADED features a mix of palpable talents: vocalist Marita Hellem, guitarists Albert “Gold Top” Johansen & Alex “Locktight” Gregersen, bassist Sander Olsen, drummer and mix engineer Thomas “Mr Equalizer” Schjerve Mjønes, and manager and co-producer Mikael “Dynamo” Næss.
All are experiended musicians, but we must emphasize that Hellem seems to be one of the most promising ladies in hard rock / metal. The most shocking fact about this divinely gifted songstress is that she comes from the black metal scene – she is ex- Manes, pioneers in the genre – but here Hellem delivers melodic, smooth performances. Just check out the video-title track below.
Other highlights include the modern AOR of ‘Adrenaline’, the driving n’ catchy ‘Momentum’ (remind us of Osukaru, but with more biting vocals) and the racing ‘Keep Fighting’, but the album as a whole is consistent and punchy.
Ready to play in hte Ørland Rockfest next weekend alongside Dynazty and Jelusick, INVADED is an emerging Scandi hard rocking band with the potential to explode.
