Lions Pride Music has signed Erik S. Björngard’s new band, TIME KEEPER. Renowned for his award-winning solo career and international compositions, the Swede now leads TIME KEEPER in reviving the iconic Melodic Hard Rock sound of the 1980s. Their highly anticipated self-titled debut album “Time Tripper” is set for a worldwide release on November 28, 2025.
If you like old school Melodic Hard FM rock, with an 80s songwriting style but today’s sound you will pleased by this album. Bjorngard, established in France, is helped by experienced local musicians (guitarist Tom Fremont is member of hard rockers Koritni) who have put their skills to the service of songs.
Erik’s dedication to his craft and his ability to seamlessly merge various musical styles have earned him recognition in the rock and metal community. In 2024, he formed Time Tripper with close friends, aiming to revive the quintessential AOR sound of the 1980s. Together, they draw inspiration from iconic bands such as Europe, Honeymoon Suite, and Bon Jovi. Their musical direction is a nostalgic return to their roots, reminiscent of their early years performing on stages, delivering powerful keyboard and guitar riffs, and leading sing-along choruses with their audience.
