Philadelphia’s Best Kept Secret throughout the mid-80s / early ’90s, RADIO CITY consistently sold out shows, winning the respect of their contemporaries around town, which was a hotbed of talent at the time, those friendly rivals being bands such as Cinderella, Teeze / Roughhouse, Heaven’s Edge and others.
RADIO CITY’s brand of slick AOR combining female & male vocals my have been just a little late to the major label party however, as things turned a little darker and louder and, as we all know, the best don’t always get the brass ring.
After seemingly a lifetime, RADIO CITY finally sees their material available to the general public on compact disc titled “Big City Nights“, originally a private release now expanded with previously unreleased recordings. All fully remastered by 20th Century Music.
