We have been following the evolution of BLUE MOUNTAIN SWE since its inception, and now the band is releasing their new album “When Heaven Falls Down & Hell Freezes Over” staring the 2026 in full force.
Despite being a relatively new band, all members in BLUE MOUNTAIN SWE aren’t newcomers at all, with four decades of experience in the business. In short, BLUE MOUNTAIN SWE are melodic hard rock band ANGELINE plus FATAL SMILE vocalist Hans B Svalfors (aka H.B. Anderson).
This is classy Scandi stuff rich in catchy melodic rock grooves with bouncy rhythms, soaring vocals and strong guitar work. And we mentioned above the word ‘evolution’ on purpose, and with this new record BLUE MOUNTAIN SWE has refined its songwriting and arrangements, even more polished than before but served with a powerful production.
There are some real melodic hard rock gems on this album, such as Kill ‘Em With Kindness, Outrageous (Cold Days In Hell), Black Light Morning, Soulshaker, very melodic and of course with an ANGELINE similarity, however some with a noticeable edgy approach similar to 220 Volt.
What started as a side project BLUE MOUNTAIN SWE is getting stronger and stronger, delivering really good music for the soul.
