Multinational blues rock superstars BLUES PILLS are releasing a special and very limited live album, entitled »Birthday Live«. The album was recorded during the band’s headlining show at last year’s Freak Valley Festival which marked a special event for the group.
This is the live performance of the band’s latest acclaimed studio album “Birthday”, the entire record payed live, and there’s a bonus track, a studio recording of “Here Comes The Night”, BLUES PILLS’ take of the Swedish 60’s rock classic “Här Kommer Natten” by Pugh Rogefeldt. The original version is the band’s favorite songs, beautiful in a very raw way. They recorded it all analogue on tape.
With the release of »BLUES PILLS Birthday Live«, they say thank you to the person and festival that paved the way for what is today known as the hottest band in classic/blues rock, and of course, to the fans.
