Art Of Melody Music / Burning Minds Music Group are releasing “FireSky” the self-titled debut album by the new Melodic Rock / AOR combo FIRESKY. FireSky is an international band consisting of musicians from Italy and Finland, created by Finnish drummer Mika Brushane (Imperium). It already made its official debut in 2025 with the exclusive unreleased track “To Be The Number One,” featured on the compilation “We Still Rock… The World.”
The line-up is completed by Italian singer Davide Merletto (Lace, ex-Planethard), guitarist Samuli Federley (Mirka Rantanen’s Circus Of Rock), bassist Time Schleifer (King Company), and keyboardist / producer / sound engineer Saal Richmond (In-Side).

Set for release on March 13, 2026, the album is heavily influenced by legendary ’80s acts such as Journey, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Giant and Toto, and the band promises to be a real blast among fans of classic AOR / Melodic Rock music. All production, mixing and mastering duties have been handled by Saal Richmond at Harmonia Recording Work Studio in Giaveno (Turin, Italy).
Special guest backing vocals come courtesy of Dave “Rox” Barbieri (Wheels Of Fire, Shining Line, Room Experience) and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge Of Forever, Hardline). Pierpaolo “Zorro” Monti (Shining Line, Charming Grace, Room Experience) and Dave Zublena (Soul Seller, Kastadian) also co-wrote.

Elegance. Class. Refinement. These three words are the definition of the music into this CD. These three adjectives are typically associated with ease in the musical architecture of AOR. But with FireSky, they go hand in hand, representing a well-crafted and distinctive example of a genre that finds its natural home in these qualities.
