STREETS – The Demo & Unreleased Sessions 1982 **0dayrox Exclusive**

HERE ///
A few days ago we featured in exclusive a HQ version of STREETS 1986’s second album ‘Crimes In Mind’, which along their debut LP 1983’s ‘Streets 1st’ are essential pieces into your ’80s Melodic Hard Rock collection.
Now 0dayrox presents a STREETS treasure chest: “The Demo & Unreleased Sessions 1982” – all the songs they wrote and prepared for the ‘1st’ debut LP the next year – and more…
We find here sessions from October, November and December of 1982, plus other uncertain (presumably early 1983). There’s early versions of songs that ended into ‘Streets 1st’ such as ‘Move On’, ‘Lonely Woman’s Cry’, ‘Fire’ (here titled ‘The Torch Song), ‘Everything Is Changing’, ‘Cold Hearted Woman’, etc, but also many others never recorded / unreleased.
It’s awesome to hear the first demo for Steve Walsh’s penned ‘All I Wanted’, which would eventually be released by Kansas in 1986 on the fantastic ‘Power’ album. Although Steve Morse is credited as co-writing that version, we can clearly see from the demo that it is primarily Walsh’s tune, and Morse would only add a short bridge to it for the Kansas recording.
‘Mike’s Mood’ is killer rocking instrumental showcasing Mike Slammer’s talent on the guitar, and many other good unreleased stuff.
We have 24 tracks in total here with a very good quality sound, a real gem.
