It has been seven years since WILLIAM SIKSTRÖM released his second album “Running Out Of Time”, but right now his new, third album “The Power Of Three” has been released for all fans delight. And that’s fans of elegant, timeless Westcoast / AOR music.
This Swedish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is a super talented, complete musician, as we heard on his previous efforts. On “Running Out Of Time” everything has been refined, from songwriting and playing to production – items that were perfect already.

”No AI has been used in writing or recording this record, only humans with all their flaws and emotions” say Sikström. “The Power Of Three” has that timeless sound from the late Seventies FM radio. Sikström mentions many influences, but PAGES is super evident all over the album – midtempo smooth groove with a nice subdued bounce in the choruses with fantastic instrumentation. Add to that list AIRPLAY, Marc Jordan, Work Of Art, etc.

‘Love Will Bring You Back’, ‘Making a Fools Mistake’, ‘Another Step Away’, ‘Break These Chains’ are among the gems here, but the entire album is so wonderful. From the first song until closer of this short but intense CD, you’ll find joyful uptempo moments, soaring vocals, elegant arrangements and sublime slow atmospheres as well. In addition, there’s a terrific quality in terms of a very careful production that allows the listener to enjoy all instruments involved in the development of each song.
William Sikström is a true force of smooth. Very sophisticated and unique.
