CHRISSY STEELE – ‘Too Loud’ 1990 Sessions *0dayrox Exclusive Compilation*
Alongside the requested 1991’s ‘Magnet To Steele’ only album from Canadian rock singer CHRISSY STEELE, we are bringing a little pearl from this talented vocalist – the outtakes from the pre-production demos from the album.
Here we have the songs that didn’t make it into the final album track list and remain unreleased, and let us tell you that all deserved a place! All are tremendous biting melodic hard rockin’ songs.
We titled this compilation ‘Too Loud’ 1990 Sessions in honor to the late Brian ‘Too Loud’ MacLeod (of HEADPINS and CHILLIWACK fame) CHRISSY mentor and co-composer of most of the songs apart from producing, who passed away after working on Chrissy’s album.
The sound quality of these unreleased cuts is very good for demos, and as said musically rock hard.
Additionally, and as CHRISSY STEELE remains active as musician, not only touring but also recording new music, we added the only 2 singles she released since the 1991 album: one from 2021 and other 2023. The new songs are the result of STEELE songwriting partnership with Glen Willows – the guitarist and main writer for the iconic Canadian band HARLQUIN. Both are Rock songs, with an updated production and arrangements to current times, but still classic rock at its core.
