KISS original line up of Paul / Gene / Peter and Ace, the last day of the past Century, December 31, 1999, recorded their concert at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, originally intended to be released as “ALIVE IV” in 2000 but was shelved when KISS’ parent label Mercury was swallowed by the Universal / Vivendi merger.
Although Universal later agreed to KISS using Mercury to release what would become ”The Millennium Concert” as “ALIVE IV”, it was shelved indefinitely
The concert was finally released on November 21, 2006, as part of the ‘KISS Alive! 1975–2000’ box set. That expensive Box Set was the only way to get ”The Millennium Concert” until several years after when a standalone 2xLP vinyl appeared.

”The Millennium Concert” is a must have because includes songs that had never before been performed by the original line-up (“Heaven’s on Fire”, “I Love It Loud” and “Lick It Up”). However, ”The Millennium Concert” mix & mastering wasn’t the best, sonically pretty slow, muddy and sluggish to the ears.
So the KISS Army did their own ”ALIVE IV! : The Millennium Concert (Re-mixed 2025)”, taking the original lossless source and using professional equipment to make a Re-mix. No effects, no plug-ins, no AI were used, just all the isolated tracks re-mixed again.
The result is awesome; ”The Millennium Concert (Re-mixed 2025)” now sounds fantastic, defined, with a proper separated instrumentation. The Best Buy Exclusive 2 bonus tracks were added too, and placed in the track list in the order as were performed that night.
