Hailing from Scandinavia, but this time from Denmark, ANIMALYZE pleased us past 2025 with their fun, energetic debut album. Their hard rock songs are straightforward, simple, effective with memorable choruses and a huge dose of fun. We would go so far as saying that this is the best glam metal debut heard since RECKLESS LOVE’s way back in 2011 – and we doubt that there’s a bigger compliment we can give it than that.
Now 2026 ANIMALYZE are offering something different: a CD-only album titled “Raw & Reckless“, only available via the band’s website, a limited release that we’re featuring in exclusive on 0dayrox.
According to the band; “This ain’t just a record… it’s a double shot of ANIMALYZE combining two captured moments!”

The first half of the CD is “RAW”, recorded unplugged at Sweet Silence Studio with Flemming Rasmussen (METALLICA, RAINBOW) as engineer, this is ANIMALYZE stripped, but no less rocking. The band re-arranged the best songs from debut CD ‘Wild For Free (Acoustic)’, ‘Kings Of The Night (Acoustic)’, ‘Beauty Is A Killer (Acoustic)’ and ‘Hunter Of The NIght (Acoustic)’ in uplugged format as the early ’90s MTV fashion: full instruments but no electricity. Additionally, they deliver a very good version of CHRISTOPHER CROSS’ classic ‘Ride Like The Wind (Acoustic)’.
Second half of the disc is “RECKLESS”, the first time ever ANIMALYZE live recording, full electricity, captured live 2025 at Hard Rock Cafe, in the heart of Copenhagen. It’s an energetic showcase of how good ANIMALYZE are playing together.
