FOREIGNER – Soul Doctor (2026) *HQ*

320_1 /// 320_2 /// HQ 1 /// HQ 2
Rhino / Atlantic have just released a curious, new FOREIGNER EP titled ”Soul Doctor”. The mini-album comprises the 3 new songs FOREIGNER did especially for their 1992’s ‘The Very Best … and Beyond’ album.
With Lou Gramm back in the fold after a solo career experience, FOREIGNER prepared this ‘Best of’ CD for a world wide tour, and returned into the studio in 1992 with Gramm not only at the mic but also co-writing the 3 new songs. Produced by heavyweights Duane Baron & John Purdell, the sound of the new material is fantastic.
FOREINER also featured a new line up, with impressive Bruce Turgon on bass & vocals, and Mark Schulman on drums. CHEAP TRICK’S Robin Zander provided background vocals on all tracks.
These songs are ‘Soul Doctor’, ‘Prisoner of Love’, all ‘With Heaven on Our Side’ strong numbers. Considering ‘The Very Best … and Beyond’ is now out of print, and only ‘Soul Doctor’ was reissued on the ‘Foreigner 40’ compilation, the other two tracks remained exclusive to the 1992 CD.
Now we have all the new songs FOREIGNER recorded in 1992 with Lou Gramm returning.
