After presenting in exclusive on 0dayrox the upcoming Mr. BIG “Hey Man [30th anniversary]” release, you need to hear as well “Hey Man Demos & Rehearsals“, one of the CD’s from the monster box set of Mr. BIG music released a decade ago only in Japan.
While “Hey Man [30th anniversary]” include as bonus some demo tracks, none are the versions packed into this 17-track CD of worthy material. The songs in ‘Hey Man’ are perhaps the most elaborated in Mr. BIG’s discography, so it’s really interesting to hear the creative process.
As expected with Mr. BiG – a band always obsessed with perfection, even their demos or rehearsals are of outstanding sound quality. Additionally, we find songs that never were released but are really good.
As the icing on the cake, “Hey Man Demos & Rehearsals” ends with an awesome 9+ minute jam, with Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan, Pat Torpey blowing your mind at each step.
