Here’s another 0dayrox exclusive, the 2026 Japanese remastered reissue of DAVID LEE ROTH 1988’s album “Skyscraper“.
Released by Warner Japan as part of their new ＦＯＲＥＶＥＲ ＹＯＵＮＧ ＳＥＲＩＥＳ, the album features a new mastering – and the great news is that the sound is awesome, not brickwalled, perfectly balanced much in the style of the recent VAN HALEN albums on SACD.

I know many may call me nuts – but in my humble opinion, ”Skyscraper” is a masterpiece. A hair metal masterpiece, a pop-rock masterpiece, mainstream rock progressive masterpiece. All of that. ”Skyscraper” is progressive, yes, considering what second half of the ’80s industry rock was.
Having Steve Vai at his prime with green light to create (and co-produce), ”Skyscraper” was innovative from every corner regarding this genre – and at the same time met all major label requirements to be commercial, catchy, and darn fun.

This ＦＯＲＥＶＥＲ ＹＯＵＮＧ ＳＥＲＩＥＳ sound quality is fabulous – finally “Skyscraper” has been remastered as it should be done, and available on CD.
