After the exclusive VAN HALEN ‘Alive The Live’ CD featured yesterday on 0dayrox, now we have another exclusive: VAN HALEN ”Hide Your Sheep Tour 1982”.
The album consist of selections from shows recorded at various venues during the US leg of the ”Hide Your Sheep Tour 1982”, very good soundboard tapes recently surfaced. Sound quality is very good, A+
Here’s 25 awesome tracks with songs ranging from the first self-titled ‘Van Halen’ to ‘Diver Down’. All the classic are here. None of the tracks are taken from the ‘Live In The USA １９８２’ Japanese CD.
The band sounds amazing, and as said, the recordings are very well done. You’ll be surprised how raw, rocking hard VAN HALEN feels in a live setting circa 1982 – David Lee Roth’s histrionics never were that excessive (but fun!), Eddie’s acrobatics were in its climax, and Michael & Alex are both on fire.
One wonders why VAN HALEN official live albums are too much polished / post-produced in the studio – this Rawk VAN HALEN is the real deal!
