Here we have in exclusive this Japanese CD titled “Lyin’ Eyes And Other Rarities“, a release by reputed bootleg CD label Zodiac compiling EUROPE rarities, all tracks with a very good sound quality.
This compilation chronologically gathers alternate versions, live recordings, and album outtakes, primarily sourced from recalled pressings, test pressings, promos, and previously unreleased material.
As example, the extremely rare withdrawn single version of ‘Lyin’ Eyes’ (1983), featuring a different vocal take that was released in only about 100 copies before being recalled.
Other highlights include ‘Open Your Heart (1984 Single Remix Version)’, ‘Where Men Won’t Dare (The Final Countdown Outtake – Stereo Version)’, ‘Open Your Heart (Acoustic Live At BBC 20th January 1992)’, ‘Hero (Radio Remix)’, and finally a clean good version of ‘Broken Dreams’, a Non Album Track recorded in 1985 for a Swedish movie soundtrack.
Oh, and there’s the newly recorded version of the classic ‘The Final Countdown 2016’ for a commercial ad, in its full length.
As said, sound quality is very, very good! A MUST for Melodic hard rock fans and ’80s lovers.
