STANLEY SIMMONS – Dancing While The World Is Ending (2026)
STANLEY / SIMMONS, the collaborative project of Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons — sons of legendary KISS masterminds Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, will release their debut album next October titled “Dancing While The World Is Ending“.
Though Evan and Nick have been close since childhood — raised on the road by their fathers — the idea of collaborating musically never crossed their minds. That changed in December 2024, when an impromptu Instagram reel brought them together in front of microphones for the first time. “We were shocked,” Evan and Nick recalled. “The chemistry was instant. The way our voices locked together… it was undeniable.”
Early demos caught the attention of legendary producer Rob Cavallo (Fleetwood Mac), who immediately signed on to produce the duo’s debut full-length record and stepped into the role of manager.
There’s flavors of all different artists genres in what they do, in the same way that virtually everybody who’s out there or has succeeded has elements of something else. We hear ’70s classic rock on the title track, while in the vocal harmony-rich ‘Body Down’ shades of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, even Eagles.
‘Starve The Beast’ has some Richie Kotzen’s Mother Head’s Family Reunion on it, some Nelson on ‘Cold’, while the rocking ‘Running Just A Little Too Long’ brings to mind a very early Steve Perry song only existing as a demo.
“Dancing While The World Is Ending” is a very strong debut by STANLEY SIMMONS, not just ‘the sons of’ – these are talented guys, and the songs are good, very well executed and production is lively crisp.
