On October 2nd, 2026, MICHAEL BORMANN’S JADED HARD will release their new studio album “South West“. Following the band’s previous releases, the new CD continues the musical direction of former Jaded Heart frontman own vision: 11 songs that reflects the band’s current lineup and sound – melodic, diverse and firmly rooted in classic melodic hard rock.
“South West” stands for polished hard rock with strong guitars, catchy melodies and powerful choruses. The album combines classic elements from the ’80s hard rock with a modern sharp production while maintaining the distinctive musical character of Michael Bormann.
Songs like ‘Love, Touch, and Trouble’ (great rockin’ melody, awesome arpeggios in the opening riff, and a sing-along chorus), ‘In The Shadows Of The Night’ (a fast paced, real uptempo rocker with retro keys), or the AORish ‘I’ll Always Remember You’ (beautiful and mellifluous) are sure to please fans of Bormann and Euro classic melodic hard rock.
