DIRTY KINGS – Crown Jewel (2021)

DIRTY KINGS are a classic hard rock band from Colorado Springs, influenced by all good ole bands ranging from Kiss, Thin Lizzy and Led Zeppelin to the newer sounds of The Answer, Dirty Honey and Greta Van Fleet.
You can hear all those into their new album “Crown Jewel“, a collection of well-tuned hard rock powder driven by big guitars, soulful vocals and a thunderous rhythm section all combined to create a classic rock n’ roll sound.
“Crown Jewel” does sound effortless and I am sure captures the lightning-in-a-bottle dynamics and energy of the band’s live sound. The collection boasts airtight songwriting that plays up their strengths: sexy, bluesy, nasty rock ‘n’ roll.
America is still able to produce good rock music, kudos to DIRTY KINGS for carrying the flame, an independent band who managed to record a strong album, very well produced.
