BLACK ROSE UK – WTF (2022)
BLACK ROSE from England, formed in 1980 and were part of the scene that was called the NWoBHM. They toured all over the UK and Europe and released two vinyl albums – ‘Boys Will be Boys’ in 1984 on Bullet Records, and the more melodic-hard ‘Walk it How you Talk It’ in 1986, considered a cult classic (and to be reissued / remastered soon).
After splitting up in 1989, BLACK ROSE reformed in 2010 to play at the Cradle of Rock Festival in 2011 and recorded a third album in 2012 on Metalizer Records called ‘Cure for your Disease’.
So the upcoming, explicit-titled new CD ‘WTF‘ is the band’s fourth studio album in four decades, and you can tell these guys lived ’80s the scene and really know how to craft a catchy, melodic classic metal tune.
The band combines the power of the twin guitar attack classy melodic metal riffs with a groovy hard rock pulse, resulting into an album that takes you back to the mid-Eighties, yet sounding modern with crisp mix & production…
