SLEEZE BEEZ – Screwed, Blued & Tattooed [Bad Reputation remaster] (2022) HQ *only at 0dayrox*

Bad Reputation has just released the long time awaited remastered job on one of the greatest Melodic Hard Rock / Glam Metal albums from the ’80s: SLEEZE BEEZ rocking 1990’s international debut “Screwed, Blued & Tattooed“.
This Dutch band not only sounds more American than the American but also mix like few melodic and groove like few. Often compared to Motley Crue, Ratt, White Lion, etc, in fact SLEEZE BEEZ had their own sound, and equally good as any of these aforementioned.
One thing we like about “Screwed, Blued & Tattooed” is the fact that there’s no place for syruped ballad, nor even midtempos; these 10 tracks rock like Hell, no filler in sight.
10 bullets of quality late ’80s US Melodic Glammy Hard Rock, an essential album in your collection na this punchy remaster will blow your head.

SLEEZE BEEZ – Insanity Beach (Japanese Edition) HQ / out of print

To complete SLEEZE BEEZ studio discography, here’s the Japanese Edition of “Insanity Beach“, the last album from this stupendous Dutch band. Dropped by Atlantic Records as happened after 1992 with all rock bands with melody, SLEEZE BEEZ continued as unit and determined to play the music they loved.
Recorded in the Netherlands with local crew – including Robby Valentine as Orchestra conductor – “Insanity Beach” saw the band toughen their sound. Many fans missed the glammy metal of their 1990 album, or the polished multi-layered sonics of previous effort.
But SLEEZE BEEZ never released the same album, never repeated themselves. And while the quality songwriting is still here, the sound production on “Insanity Beach” is rawer, in your face…

SLEEZE BEEZ – Powertool (1992) HQ / out of print

Still with Atlantic Records support, Holland’s SLEEZE BEEZ released their sophomore album “Powertool” in 1992. While their awesome international debut “Screwed Blued & Tattoed” followed the late ’80s Hollywood sound, “Powertool” seems to take it’s sound more from what Def Leppard was doing at the time. In fact, it sounds almost identical to ‘Adrenalize’.
Recorded in UK and produced by famed Gary Lyons (Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Foreigner, UFO) “Powertool” is extremely melodic and upbeat, and one could easily envision these songs on radio and MTV back in 1992.
Each has something to offer the listener, but here are my favorites: “Raise A Little Hell”, “Dance” (Tom Keifer of Cinderella as guest), “Watch That Video”, “I Don’t Want To Live Without You” and “Bring Out The Rebel”. I simply can’t imagine anyone who likes melodic rock music to not enjoy Sleeze Beez’s “Powertool”.
While reissued by Wounded Bird a couple of decades ago (not remastered) “Powertool” is currently out of print and quite expensive…
