WONDERS – The Fragments Of Wonder (2021)
”The Fragments Of Wonder” is the debut album from Italy’s WONDERS, formed past year by brothers Pietro Paolo and Giorgio Lunesu (of Even Flow) with renowned producer and keyboardist Bob Katsionis (ex- Firewind, Outloud). With the excellent pipes of ex-Secret Sphere, they created a sophisticated Melodic Metal / Prog Metal set of songs which succeeds for various reasons.
First, ”The Fragments Of Wonder” is catchy however avoiding the cheesy factor, the catchiness appear thanks to dynamics, and here’s where Katsionis expertise hands show up. Second, WONDERS did it in mere 44 minutes via precise, focused songwriting, short tunes, and effective all the way.
And third, production & mix is wonderful, detailed, clean, crisp…
