BEVERLY KILLZ – Iguana Mulata (2020)

Few days ago we featured the two first BEVERLY KILLZ albums reissued 2020, now the Italian melodic hard rockers just released their fresh CD “Iguana Mulata“, plenty of classic American 80s-90s / style riffs and huge choruses, but also a modern, bombastic sheen from the genre coming from Scandinavia.
The guys attack with a double-guitar crunch since opener ”Take Me, Hate Me (AZZ)”, while other ear-grabbers include the passionate power ballad “Stephanie”, the DEF LEPPARD-dish “After The Rain”, or the catchy melody of “A Girl Like You”.

BEVERLY KILLZ – Gasoline & Broken Hearts [reissue +1] (2020) *EXCLUSIVE*

Formed in Milano, Italy, in April 2007, BEVERLY KILLZ born from the ashes of two local bands; Jasmine Gun and Mr. Jackfrost. They debuted some time after with an EP produced by the well known Alessandro Del Vecchio.
Now 2020 Beverly Killz are about to release a new album next month, meanwhile the band is reissuing their full length first record “Gasoline & Broken Hearts” including a bonus track.
Despite the band’s name, Beverly Killz does not play sleaze, these guys show in “Gasoline & Broken Hearts” their love for late ’80s / earlier ’90s American Hard Rock with a touch of Hair Metal.
Mixed by the skilled Dennis Ward, “Gasoline & Broken Hearts” rocks with a clean and melodic sheen. There’s many influences into their sound such as Skid Row, Mariah, Julliet, some Guns N’ Roses – and regarding newer acts – Jettblack or the last and more rockier side of Crazy Lixx.

BEVERLY KILLZ – Kingdom [reissue 2020] *EXCLUSIVE*

Italian melodic hard rockers BEVERLY KILLZ are about to release a new album next month, meanwhile the band is reissuing 2020 their back catalog, including this recording titled “Kingdom”.
Despite the band’s name, Beverly Killz does not play sleaze, these guys showcase here their love for late ’80s / earlier ’90s American Hard Rock with a touch of Hair Metal.
“Kingdom” is rawer than Beverly Killz previous album, recorded by themselves almost live into the studio, and originally available for free for the fans at their website.
“Kingdom” combine the youthful, raw energy of Beverly Killz’ early days with more mature, diversified approach to their sound and style as well as sardonic social commentary. Just take a look at the album cover: it’s a painting by a Polish painter Pawel Kuczynski. Beverly Killz were looking for an idea to represent that kind of dirty, corrupted power and how often people are ready to embrace it.
This album rocks, with attitude.
