After almost fifteen years of hard work touring Europe and supporting big acts such as Whitesnake, Dokken or White Lion, seem the hour for major exposure finally arrived to Greek quintet W.A.N.T.E.D. Their third full length CD “God’s Best Sinners” to be released by Perris Records was mixed & mastered in the USA, and with the addition of new guitarist Tom Hellfinger their sound is sharper and modern than ever.

If you are new to W.A.N.T.E.D., their music is influenced by classic hard rock bands, especially from America. However in this new effort there’s some modern touches to their sound, resulting in pretty creative compositions.
Indeed, while straight hard rockers as opener ‘Eats You Like Prey’ or ‘Never Get Me Alive’ are your meat & potato classic hard, songs like the groovy ‘The Remedy’ and ‘Merciless’ add fresh, different tuned guitar riffs to the traditional genre’s scales.

Then, tracks like the really good ‘Good to Be Bad’ incorporates a main melody and catchy chorus akin the best days of Enuff Z’Nuff, and the jumping ‘Not You’ even a poppy feel.
‘The Last Time’ also brings some gentle original arrangements in a midtempo vein including piano into the mix.
To make things more diverse, title track ‘God’s Best Sinners’ cast a little Sixx AM modernity to its classic hard rock structure, plus a scorching well rounded guitar solo.

On their new CD “God’s Best Sinners”, W.A.N.T.E.D. are trying many new elements into their classic hard foundation, and it’s a more than welcomed innovation.
Instead of repeating the same wasted riffs, licks and the overall sound of the genre, all musicians provide a refreshing new approach with original arrangements and clever arrangements / instrumentation.
Song-wise all tracks are solid, very well played and the guy at the mic does a darn good job at it.
