BRIGHTON ROCK – A Room For Five (2015 ZRecords Reissue)

BRIGHTON ROCK - A Room For Five (2015 ZRecords Reissue) + bonus
HERE

Completing the discography of terrific melodic hard rockers BRIGHTON ROCK, here’s “A Room For Five”, their latest album capturing the band live, recorded at Grape and Wine Festival, 09/10/2001 & Hardball Cafe, 12/31/2001.
This is a stupendous performance featuring the great songs that have established themselves as a top melodic hard rockin’ act over the years. Production is pretty raw, but that has a beauty to it.
Additionally, as extra we added Brighton Rock’s cover of KISS classic “Creatures Of The Night”, recorded for a benefit compilation.

Indeed, this “A Room For Five” are presented quite direct, if there’s overdubs I assure you they’re very subtle.
It’s really fun and refreshing to hear, as example, one of my favorite Brighton Rock songs such as “Outlaw” (from their polished second album) so hot and kick ass.

“Hollywood Shuffle”, “Young Wild and Free”, “Love Machine”, “Rebels With A Cause” all rock in these hot versions, and while the AOR hit “Hangin High n’ Dry” is more biting here, still retains that lovely melody all over.
A great, pure ’80s-styled live recording from a band that still rocks today (album in the making) and as extra you have the studio cover of the KISS classic done with a BR touch.
Highly Recommended
