“The crown prince of soft pop” according to Goldmine Magazine and “One of the best singer-songwriters to come along since the heyday of Tin Pan Alley” in the words of renowned Barry Manilow: awarded singer / songwiter, producer and multi-instrumentalist KYLE VINCENT celebrates 2020 with his twentieth album ”Whatever It Takes”.
AOR connoisseurs will remember Kyle’s first albums mixing melodic rock with light AOR tunes in the vein of Mitch Malloy, Rick Springfield, Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx or even the earlier Bryan Adams.
Kyle Vincent 2020 sound is much more mature, but still plenty of melodic songs drenched in soulful melodies, rich orchestration, heartfelt lyrics, and sparkling vocals, reminiscent of the great FM radio of the 70s / 80s, yet sounding refreshingly current.

Kyle Vincent has never shied away from wearing his influences, and his heart, on his musical sleeve, and his latest album will not only satiate his current legion of worldwide fans, but should certainly hook a new audience longing for his style of super melodic, crystal clearly produced contemporary rock&pop songs.

While Kyle is able to play all instruments, the record features very special, legendary guest musicians in Kyoji Yamamoto (Bow Wow), Wally Bryson & Jim Bonfanti (The Raspberries), Parthenon Huxley (ELO Pt. II/The Orchestra), Tommy Dunbar (The Rubinoos), and legendary Wrecking Crew guitarist, Louie Shelton.

”Whatever It Takes” is plenty of melodies / harmonies and integral instrumentation, where Kyle’s clean lead vocals tell you some nice stories over pulsating rock&pop arrangements. Production is crystal clear and very warm.
