GIG is a super-group formed by a trio of legendary music makers: Randy Goodrum, Dave Innis and Bruce Gaitsch. These cats have written and / or played on a mind-blowing array for great albums and songs during the last three decades covering a number of musical genres, working with artists ranging from ToTo, Richard Marx and Steve Perry to Elton John, Restless Heart and Madonna.
“Wisdom And Madness” is their second, new 2022 album together, only released in Japan – on this SHM-CD version including 3 extra tracks.
The trio is helped by extremely talented musicians such as bass player John Patitucci (Roger Waters, Nancy Wilson), drummer Doug Yowell (Elton John, Michael McDonald, Desmond Child band), keyboardist Tim Akers (Kenny Loggins, Michael Bolton) and more.
“Wisdom And Madness” is for West Coast pop and soft-rock lovers, the material included is a true master class, both in arrangements and execution.

GIG’s second work “Wisdom and Madness” is a very strong collection of deliberately eclectic, multi-layered, thoughtful and astute songs, like the the musicians involved. These individual members are as different as possible, but they are solidified as a project with a uniform sound.
