KENS DOJO – Symphony Of Life (2024)

KENS DOJO, the band of Norwegian songwriter / producer Ken Ingwersen has a new album ready for pre order: “Symphony Of Life”. His first album “Reincarnation” was released in 2010 and featured some amazing singers and musicians like Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple), Ken Hensley (ex-Uriah Heep), Tommy LaVerdi (ex-21 Guns), etc.
After eleven years, the 2nd album “The Future Looks Bright” was written during the pandemic and is obviously reflected in the title and some of the lyrics. This time Ken also brought some amazing singers for the album.
But now Ingwersen, apart of being a very good guitarist, has grown as vocalist too, and for the first time he performs all the lead vocals on “Symphony Of Life”. Ingwersen also play bass, while the drums were handled heavily by Bjørn Olav Lauvdal (ex STREET LEGAL).
“Symphony Of Life” an instantly likeable hard rocking album with typical melodies from Scandinavia: layered, plenty of harmonies. There’s strong songs on offer, well arranged and produced, and Ingwersen does a fine job as debut singer.
