Formed by experienced producer & songwriter Phil Martin and vocalist Lo ‘Garp’ Van Gorp, in amongst the catchy guitar and synth licks and luxurious harmonies, the music of MARTIN & GARP is like a breath of fresh air in 2021.
This album spills groovy rhythms like in opener “Making Up”, together with elaborated but easy listening harmonies and smooth vocals as on the tasteful “Told You Straight”.

After previously releasing 2 singles at the end of 2020, it’s now time for the full album released on Légère Recordings from Hamburg on January 15th, 2021, available on compact disc and of course, vinyl LP. This album indeed belongs to a turntable, alongside your LP’s of PLAYER, AMBROSIA, EAGLES, ROBBIE DUPREE, and more recent acts of this ilk like YOUNG GUN SILVERFOX or STATE COWS.
