SAMANTHA FOX – Play It Again, Sam : The Fox Box [Cherry Pop 2xCD rarities & unreleased]

As requested, and to complete SAMANTHA FOX Eighties music catalog, here’s “Play It Again, Sam : The Fox Box“, a box set prepared by Cherry Red with one disc including together every single released during her successful Jive Records tenure for the very first time plus an unreleased track as bonus.
The box also includes a second CD featuring many sought-after and previously unavailable rarities from throughout Sam’s career. Always eclectic and never just a ‘model-turned-singer’, she convinced as a Rock chick one moment and a trend-setting dance diva the next. Here, her choice of collaborations ranging from legendary space rockers Hawkwind to acid house pioneer DJ Pierre sit alongside covers of favorite acts such as Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Donna Summer and ABBA. With B-sides, remixes, an updated take on ‘Touch Me’ and another exclusive track, ‘It’s You’, there is plenty to discover for die-hard fans and newcomers alike.

SAMANTHA FOX – Touch Me [Cherry Red Deluxe Edition 2xCD / 27 bonus tracks]

As requested, here’s the digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of the classic 1986 debut album from British bombshell SAMANTHA FOX, ”Touch Me [Cherry Red Deluxe Edition 2xCD]”, released by Cherry Red Records division Cherry Pop.
Transitioning to pop music after three years as a Page 3 girl topless model, Fox released the single “Touch Me (I Want Your Body)” on 10 March 1986 and exploded in the charts all over the world. Immediately establishing Samantha’s signature pop-rock sound, the album was certified gold on its original release, reaching #17 in the UK and #24 in the US.
Motorhead’s Lemmy was Samantha’s mentor – she admitted being a metal / frustrated rocker – and despite her songs being pop, Samantha always has been linked to the hard rock world in one way or another.
Remastered direct from the master tapes, this edition brings together the original 10-track album with an incredible amount 27 bonus tracks across two CDs. Presented together with Samantha’s later work and on CD for the very first time are her early recordings for Lamborghini Records with her first band SFX – “Rockin’ with My Radio”, “Aim to Win” and “Holding”. Bonus tracks also include rare B-sides and many sought-after 12″ mixes, the majority of which have never before been released on CD.

SAMANTHA FOX – Self-Titled [Cherry Red Deluxe Edition 2xCD / 20 bonus tracks]

As requested, here’s the digitally remastered and expanded 2-CD edition of 1987’s, Self-Titled second album from British bombshell SAMANTHA FOX in its Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop. ”Samantha Fox” features five UK hit singles, the irresistible Stock Aitken Waterman classic “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now” (#8), “I Surrender (To the Spirit of the Night)” (#25), “I Promise You (Get Ready)”, “True Devotion” and “Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)” (#31).
Remastered direct from the master tapes, this edition brings together the original 10-track album with 20 bonus tracks across two CDs. Sought-after B-sides and many 12″ mixes originally only issued on vinyl feature alongside two unheard tracks, “The Right Stuff” and “Hot Tonight”, which was later reworked as “Hot for You” on Samantha’s 1989 album I Wanna Have Some Fun.
Also featured are unheard mixes of “I Surrender (To the Spirit of the Night)” and Samantha’s cover of the Stones’ classic “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, which was initially considered for release as a sixth single from the album in mid-1988…

SAMANTHA FOX – I Wanna Have Some Fun [Cherry Red Deluxe Edition 2xCD / 21 bonus tracks]

As requested, here’s the digitally remastered and expanded 2-CD edition of “I Wanna Have Some Fun”, the third album from perennial ’80s pop-rock icon and pin-up SAMANTHA FOX, in its Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
Originally issued in 1989, “I Wanna Have Some Fun” features three UK hit singles, “Love House” (#32), a Stock Aitken Waterman-produced cover of the Dusty Springfield classic “I Only Wanna Be With You” (#16), and the title track – Samantha’s second collaboration with Full Force, which hit #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her third US Top 10 hit in two years.
More danceable and eclectic than Samantha’s previous albums, “I Wanna Have Some Fun” also found her collaborating with a diverse selection of the world’s top producers, from Fred Zarr, Bolland & Bolland and Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson to Grammy-nominated rock luminary Chris Tsangarides.
Digitally remastered direct from the master tapes, this Deluxe Edition brings together the original 12-track album with 21 bonus tracks across two CDs. Many sought-after and previously unavailable mixes feature alongside Samantha’s featured appearance on the Full Force single “All I Wanna Do…” and two unreleased tracks recorded for the album but ultimately shelved – the Fred Zarr-produced “Shout It Out” and…

SAMANTHA FOX – Just One Night [Cherry Red Deluxe Edition 2xCD / 23 bonus tracks]

As requested, now we have here the digitally remastered and expanded 2-CD edition of “Just One Night”, the fourth album – the last she released on Jive Records – from perennial ’80s pop-rock icon and pin-up SAMANTHA FOX, in its Deluxe Edition reissue on Cherry Pop.
The album found Samantha taking an increasing rolein songwriting and collaborating with a range of producers including Clivillésand Cole, Full Force, Ralf-René Maué and Eric Foster White.
Digitally remastered direct from the master tapes, this Deluxe Edition brings together the original 11-track album with no less than 23 bonus tracks across two CDs, including three unreleased Stock Aitken Waterman tracks recorded in early 1991.
While the song “Forever True” was submitted to Jive for possible inclusion on “Just One Night”, “A Second
Chance” and Sam’s version of the Boy Krazy hit “That’s What Love Can Do” were left unfinished in the wake of Matt Aitken’s departure from PWL.
Especially for this release, both tracks have now been completed ‘as they might have been’ in both 7″ and 12″ form by upcoming remixer/producer Matt Pop, using Sam’s original vocals…
