XL (pre KICK) – Rock All Over You [Remastered & Expanded +10 / Audio Vaults]
This is a little gem from the vaults: XL promotional-only EP “Rock All Over You” from 1992 has been reissued / remastered plus previously unreleased material. XL was the name chosen by British brothers Chris & Mike Jones to present their Melodic Rock / AOR chops to the world via this promo EP. Both later formed KICK with future VEGA vocalist Nick Workman and released 3 successful albums.
“Rock All Over You [Remastered & Expanded +10 / Audio Vaults]” is pure late 80s influenced AOR / Melodic Rock with that unmistakable British flavor in the vein of DEF LEPPARD, BB STEAL, early GUN, etc. For this release, the Jones bros opened the vaults and offer no less than 10 unreleased recordings from the same era. The sound quality is excellent.
