To make it more complete THE BLACK CROWES‘ remastered reissues request, here’s a rarity: “Souled Out Live”, a Japan-only release now out of print.
The intention of this release was, in fact, to be the single “Go Faster” taken from the Crowes album ‘By Your Side”, but then they decided to make it bigger with the addition of a stupendous live performance.

It’s well documented that THE BLACK CROWES shows during their first decade of existence were legendary. Long, extended performances, played with flesh & blood, plenty of energy.
There’s dozens of live bootlegs, most of them approved by the band. The Crowes weren’t afraid of people disappointed with any of their shows.

So this “Souled Out Live” includes officially taped, live performances of some of their best songs, ‘extended play’ versions full of magic.

These were recorded at The Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA on Easter Sunday (April 4th) of 1999, supervised by the band and mixed by renowned Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Journey, Dream Theater, etc)
