Here’s another ALVIN LEE album requested from the Japanese cardboard sleeve (mini LP) remastered reissue series done by AirMail Archive, now out of print. With a curious artwork for a rock but blues based record – made by Derek Riggs, who is famous for his work with Iron Maiden – on “RX5” (1981) Alvin proves he knows how to rock and roll. Guitar playing, on which Lee receives an assist from Steve Gould, is outstanding and the energy level remains high from first cut to last.

Do you have Alvin Lee’s albums “Detroit Diesel” and “Zoom” as well?

All Alvin Japan remasters coming up. “Detroit Diesel” and “Zoom” aren’t included into these series, but we will add both to Request List as you requested. Stay tuned.
